The Artist's New Photo-Technique Process
Having been an award-winning photographer in high school, and a printmaking major in art school, it was inevitable that these skills should find their way into Daniel's illuminated works. These new pieces are created using Daniel's own photographs, printed onto a translucent vellum-like material and applied onto hand-welded steel wire frameworks. Most pieces use a single 40 or 60 watt light bulb.
